This flat top lamp is composed of a black metal frame and glass lamp shade, forming a farmhouse style, which is both beautiful and practical, but also can achieve a dimming function, which is very practical for bedrooms, kitchens, corridors, and other places.

Nice looking light with three bulbs. We placed this in a bathroom to replace an old fixture and it was a good upgrade. Everything was straightforward with installation which took about 20 minutes. The glass part of the fixture is very heavy and thick. I strongly recommend not attaching until the wiring and base is mounted. The instructions were mute on the issue but luckily I did it correctly. Puts out very good light.. Rebecca. Proctorville, OH. Thu Jun 18 2026

The clear, optic glass is paired with a modern finish, allowing the light to work well in classic and more modern environments. Paying homage to the fun decor of old-school diners and food joints, the timeless look of the wide ribbed optic glass shade takes center stage. This Somerset drum flush mount is a contemporary piece that will add modern chic to your home. Whether in your foyer, study, or bedroom, this clear glass shade provides an unobstructed view of the lights. The brushed gold finish adds a touch of sophistication and class.

I purchased the Somerset 2-Light 12" Modern Flush Mount by Longshore Tides and, although I haven't installed it yet, I’m happy with my experience so far. It arrived well-protected in a sturdy box with ample internal padding and no visible damage, and the fixture components were secure and organized, which suggests care in shipping. The materials feel solid and well-finished; the metal parts have a consistent finish and the glass diffuser appears free of chips or defects. Screws and mounting hardware look durable and complete. The attractive modern profile and compact 12" size should work well in hallways, bedrooms, or small entryways, and the finish matches the product images, providing a clean, contemporary look. Given the solid packaging and perceived material quality, it seems like a good value for an affordable modern flush mount. I’ll check ease of wiring and mounting, how level and secure it sits on the ceiling, light diffusion and brightness with the chosen bulbs, and long-term finish durability after installation. Overall, the secure packaging and apparent high-quality components make me optimistic the Somerset 2-Light flush mount will perform and look great once installed.. Angela. Atlanta, GA. This black flush mount lighting fixture is a perfect combination of modern and industrial style. The black metal and seeded glass lamp shade harmoniously blend together, with a subtle visual interest. The sleek and streamlined look highlight the modern theme which emphasizes the comfortable life and simple silhouette. Without occupying your valuable floor space, this flush mount lighting will save your space while complementing your modern or industrial decor. Especially designed for your hallway, entryway, dinning room or bedroom.

This is a good light - it looks just as it appears online. It was slightly challenging to install, and my partner and I are experienced at installing light fixtures. You need to line up the holes in the unit to insert the screws from the ceiling bracket, and this is challenging because there's insulation on the ceiling-face side of the unit. The insulation makes it nearly impossible to see when you have the screws lined up, so you have to do it by feel. It's 100% do-able; it just takes patience. Lastly, I do not recommend buying open-box items on Wayfair, which is what I did with this unit to save money. The glass was cracked, and because this was open-box, Wayfair couldn't send me a replacement unit or piece (which can only be sent from the manufacturer). It seems Wayfair doesn't have an agreement with the manufacturer to ship replacements after it accepts open-box items. I was offered only a full or partial refund; I made it work for us.. Hillary. There's something quietly mesmerizing about crackle glass—each tiny fracture holds light in its own way, turning a simple ceiling fixture into a little piece of everyday magic. This flush-mount light does exactly that: a wide bowl of textured crackle glass that diffuses warm light into a soft, shimmering glow across the ceiling. The design is clean and modern: a smooth dark gold canopy sits flush against the ceiling, accented by slim matte-black hardware that traces the bottom edge of the glass and meets at a small round finial at center. It's the kind of detail that feels intentional, not overdone. At just 15 inches wide and 5 inches tall, it's the perfect size for a bedroom, a cozy hallway, or a small dining area. Low enough for 8-foot ceilings without feeling cramped, but with enough presence to make a room feel finished. Whether you're reading in bed, getting ready in the morning, or just coming home after a long day, this light wraps the room in a warm, gentle glow. Simple, beautiful, and quietly sophisticated.

We installed this light in our piano nook and couldn’t be happier with it. The crackled glass creates a beautiful pattern on the ceiling when it’s turned on, giving the room a warm, inviting glow without feeling overly modern or industrial. The bronze finish works well with darker wood furniture like our mahogany piano. It’s low profile enough for a standard ceiling but still makes a statement. We paired it with warm bulbs and love the ambiance it creates in the evenings. Installation was straightforward, and the quality exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a flush mount that adds character and visual interest without overpowering a room, this is a great choice.. Samantha. Hudson Valley, NY. Thu Jun 18 2026
