Without exaggeration I have removed and replaced at least 100 light fixtures in my time and this has to be one of the easiest I ever have installed. The domed canopy cover on the fixture allows for it to be easily attached to the mounting strap on the outlet box so you dont have to struggle trying to tuck excess wire into the junction box. The fixture was easily installed in 5 minutes. My only problem was with the globe style shade. It does not fit over a standard size bulb. I knew that from reading the reviews and had purchased the bulb recommended by other reviewers. Unfortunately that didnt work either. I had to resort to a standard base candle type bulb. The fixture will only handle 40 w Max so do not depend on this fixture for more than ambient lighting. I still love the style and it works for me. I consider it a good value for the money.. Sandra. Love them! When I bought my condo they had track Lighting in the office and it was so outdated, ugly, and a total eyesore! I had my Handyman remove them fix the ceiling and then put these in. I wanted something super flush to the ceiling so they didnt draw a lot of attention or make the ceiling feel low as it is a little bit lower in this room. When they were built this was originally supposed to be a patio and they enclosed it for additional living space. I made it an office which isnt completed yet! I love how they hug the ceiling and they come with two remote controls which is super handy when walking into the room when dark. I keep one in my living room and one on the desk. It also has a day and night on it for bright or soft. When I ordered them I felt they were a little expensive, but when I got them, I feel they are well worth the expense!
