This light is perfect for low ceilings where you don't have alot of head room. I installed it on a 6 foot ceiling and it hangs roughly 2 inches below the ceiling. This light is really beautiful. The metal is high end and looks very art deco. I originally bought it for the hall but they put it up in the kitchen by mistake and we kept it there.
