Exactly what I was looking for. As described. Definitely a positive purchase. Highly recommend.. Hilda. Orlando, FL. Sun May 03 2026

Some rooms are finished except for the ceiling. This semi-flush mount fills that last gap with a 20-inch drum shade handwoven from natural-fiber cord, wrapped strand by strand in tight vertical rows around the frame so the surface reads as texture up close and settles into a calm, even tone from across the room. Each shade is woven by hand, which gives the surface the slight irregularity of real handwork rather than the uniformity of a machine-made textile. It comes in three colorways, each with metalwork chosen to match: light gray cord with matte black, natural jute with vintage brass, and ivory cord with warm brass. The finish carries through the 5.9-inch canopy, the short central stem, and the four socket arms, so the hardware reads as one piece rather than a collection of parts. Because the shade is open at the bottom, all four bulbs are visible from below, set at right angles around a central hub so exposed bulbs stay symmetrical. That makes bulb choice part of the finished look. Filament-style bulbs lean the fixture toward a display piece; frosted or opal bulbs pull it back toward a quieter, more diffused glow. Either way, the handwoven cord softens the light around the sides while the open bottom keeps plenty of it heading down. At 8.7 inches from ceiling to rim, it gives the scale of a 20-inch drum pendant in rooms where a pendant would hang too low, which is what makes it useful over a bed, in an entry, along a hallway, or as the main light in a living room. The texture sits as comfortably beside oak, rattan, and linen as it does beside painted walls and black accents, so it fits modern organic, coastal, Scandinavian, boho and bohemian-inspired, modern farmhouse, and transitional rooms without steering them in any one direction. Four E26 medium-base sockets accept up to 60W each or LED equivalents. Pair dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer to move between task-level brightness and evening light. UL Listed for dry indoor locations, hardwired, and backed by a 1-year warranty with a support team that responds within 24 hours. Bulbs and dimmer switch are sold separately.
