Espresso Up Kitchen Island Lighting

Illuminate the heart of your home in a streamlined style with this 8-light kitchen island pendant. Crafted of metal in a classic finish, this fixture's frame features a single horizontal beam lined with four crossed arms. Topping each arm, a pair of cylindrical white frosted glass shades ensconce 100W incandescent bulbs (not included) to diffuse bright light as it's dispersed throughout your kitchen. Rounding out the design, two downrods and links of chain suspend this linear pendant from a sloped ceiling-compatible canopy above.

The LED Linear Suspension Light kind of looks simple when you first see it, just two bars sitting there, but once it’s hanging over a counter or a table, it changes the whole feel of the room. The brushed-brown finish is warm in a quiet way, not shiny, so it blends with cabinets and furniture without trying too hard. A lot of people put it in kitchens or work corners because the long shape spreads the light across the space instead of just hitting one spot. It runs at 40W and gives roughly 2000 lumens, which is enough brightness for cooking, reading, or just keeping the room active without feeling like a spotlight. The 3000K tone is the warm-white type that’s easy on the eyes. It’s not that yellow kind, more like a steady glow you’d want in the evening. If you connect an ELV dimmer, the drop in brightness is smooth. No flicker or weird steps, it just goes down cleanly. The body has iron and aluminum with acrylic across the front, and when you hold it, it feels firm. Not heavy like old fixtures, but enough weight that it hangs straight. Acrylic helps soften the light, so you don’t get a harsh line on the counter. Wiring is the usual 120V setup, nothing unusual, so most people who’ve installed a pendant before will find it familiar. Since this LED Linear Suspension Light is ETL-listed for dry rooms, it works fine in bedrooms, home offices, long hallways or anywhere you want a stretched light instead of a round one. The LEDs are rated close to 50,000 hours, which basically means you’re not touching it again for years unless you want to move it. The bigger advantage is how the two-bar layout adds a long visual line across the ceiling. It fills the space without stealing attention from the rest of the room. It’s the type of fixture you notice only after the room feels better, not because it’s trying to stand out.

Install flat island pendant lights in your kitchen and dining rooms to add to the design statement of those rooms while also delivering all sorts of other advantages too. The total lumen output of these bulbs is around 1250 lumens which can be adjusted up and down with the use of dimmers. These ceiling lights have a brushed brown body finish to them while they use PMMA for construction which is a shatterproof replacement to glass makes it an instant attention grabber.

With a choice of accents, this large pendant offers an amazing "city view" no matter where you live. Our handcrafted Cityscape seems to be floating in mid-air. The visual concept is meant to evoke the image of skyscraper silhouettes situated on the waterfront (an LED platform) and reflected off the water below. A wash of beautiful up-and-down light graces this elegant fixture.

Packaging was sketchyyyyyyyy. I heard rattling and I was terrified to open it. Could have been FedEx’s fault though, to be honest. Anyway, I didn’t realize it was bubble glass, which I LOVE. The bar that the lights mount on has a faux wood accent. Looks cheap up close, but not noticeable from a distance. Two adjustable height bars included (so close to the ceiling, or further down). Overall, excited for it to get hung!. Lauren. Omak, WA. Wed Oct 26 2022
