She bashed 3 out of 7 packages around on my porch, luckily only one thing got damaged. That I've found so far. Not Wayfair's fault. They handled a replacement very quickly with no hassle. This product is ok. I like the quality of the glass shades, they don't feel like plastic to the touch. They are also easily wipeable. The black is a nice matte black, so it looks like a nice heavy iron material. The only thing getting me is the wiring the lights actually hang from. They are so bent, I am hoping they will straighten out. In the Wayfair photos the wiring looks perfectly straight but I don't believe I'll be able to get them this straight because it is a thicker wiring. Lovely light fixture. It’s very dressy, but also has a coastal feel. Really like the way the rattan drum circles the more formal drum. It was very well packed. We received our Perigold light in four days so shipping was awesome. It came very well packaged, and it was very straightforward on how to install it. We installed it on a beam so it was a little harder because we didn’t have an actual light box which would’ve made it a super easy installation. It has wonderful light. It’s over our dining table and it will be perfect on high beam to play games or do whatever you want to do so that you can see very well and then it dims down to a really nice softlight. One review mentions it did not have enough light for a galley kitchen and I believe that would be true if it was your only source of light, but it is awesome over a kitchen table where you have other lighting around it. It is very heavy duty and the electrical wire has no problem getting nice and straight once the light is hung. Also we used it with a Lutron dimmer and that went flawlessly, there is no flickering or noise. We are so very pleased with this light. Thank you Perigold for such great service and product.. Cindy.
