Using this timer, we did a retrofit to enable our new front porch chandelier to be an automatic dusk to dawn light. It was easy to switch out the existing light switch inside our house with this timer. Although the lettering is quite small, it isn't difficult to program or operate. One of the requirements for California title 24 beginning in 2017 is that every exterior fixture must use a high efficacy source to be controlled by a photocell and be controlled by either a timer switch, motion sensor or energy management system. The Tork 3010 remote photocell can be used to control 1 or multiple fixtures up to 2,000 watts.

First the connector was shipped without instruction on how to connect their connectors to landscape wires and their website shows a meaning video unrelated to the connector. The spikes in the connector that make electrical contact are snap fit only and came loose during assembly. Also, this is very difficult if not imposible to use because you are not able to see which spikes are piercing (if at all) through the landscape insulation wire.. Paulie. Danville, CA.
