We had a large, perfect for my decor, lamp over our kitchen bar. I was just tired of it (and it was a BEAR to clean!) My house is like a Mission Rustic so this works. It is not as bright as the other lamp, which had bulbs; and the crazy thing is when it is turned on it takes a very brief moment to light. This doesn't worry me. This is a good looking light fixture. It was larger than I imagined, but it looks great above my dining table. It was a little tricky to install as the wires were housed together in a thicker sheathing, so I needed to cut that to strip it and the individual sheathing was VERY thin so it was difficult to not cut through them. Very disappointing. This light should cost 40. The whole thing is super cheap plastic and looks horrible. The hanging cord does not have a decorative cover and you can see all of the gaugetechnical specs written in white from across the room.
