A simple, classic style, the Glenn 300 Watt Floor Lamp is easily placed into a variety of décor and spaces. A matte black finished pole extends into a frosted plastic bowl shade that reveals a beautiful glow when lit. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (a high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.

This lamp was relatively easy to assemble with 3 parts which all screw together. The only complexity was removal the protective plastic around the product and managing the cord which ran through the center of each part. While one person could easily assemble this, it was helpful to have second person prop up the parts while being screwed together. The results speak for themselves. The lowest hanging of the 5 lights rests at about 5’3” and the highest at 6’2” as described. The light is a natural warm color which plays well against neutral tones instead of washing them out. We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable lead will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.

Perfect touch for the look that I wanted. I wanted something somewhere between spare contemporary and traditional, which is usually to heavy/fussy for me. This lamp is clean-looking but doesn't look as if it belongs in a cold medical exam-room. I think it fits into the space with a more transitional style without sticking out like a sore thumb. I'm very happy with the result. The uplighting gives the perfect effect for the vaulted ceiling. The lamp is solid and stable. The on/off switch doesn't have the flimsy feel that many others that I've purchased had, so I'm hopeful that this one will hold up longer. I took one star off because assembly was a bit frustrating; I had more than a little difficulty working the electrical cord down inside the tube enough to screw the top of the lamp down completely - a VERY tight fit that took several attempts. But the result was worth it.. Innerchild. Missouri. Fri Jul 31 2020

A delightful combination of traditional design and modern styling, featuring clean lines and sleek metallic accents for a timeless appeal. The head extends out approximately 45 inches, allowing you to stand the lamp behind a couch and still have it shine brightly overhead. Its sleek and elegant design makes it a conversation piece, yet it still complements rooms with modern, mid-century, urban, minimalist, and traditional decor styles. Brightness and height are both adjustable on this stunning floor lamp and a foot pedal switch operates the power and dimmer functions. Thanks to the advanced LED technology, the crescent beam of light in the standing lamp stays cool to the touch and never overheats. The integrated LED uses only 15 watts and will last 20 years (if used for 3 hours/day) before it needs to be replaced. The lamp is also compatible with smart home devices such as Alexa and Siri. Plug the floor lamp into a smart plug or smart outlet (purchase separately) and enjoy your new lighting. The lamp comes with a diagram for easy assembly but doesn’t even require a screwdriver. Enjoy energy-saving with a 20-year lifespan, Alexa and Google Home compatibility, and a heavy and sturdy base with this Brightech Sparq Arc Floor Lamp, perfect for living rooms, offices, bedrooms, and more.

This is quite sleek and I get a number of comments and compliments. I think it’s an excellent lamp if you’re into minimalist and modern lighting.. William. Wilmington, DE. Wed Sep 16 2026
