Very nice pendant light for the money. I liked the rope chain idea because existing ceiling outlet was not centered where I need my small kitchen table, luckily I have exposed beams so screwed a hook in and it's perfect now. The issue with this light is the rope chain unfortunately. As a guy with many different pliers, I found it very difficult to open and close the chain links to finish it off at the ceiling. You have to be very careful with it to not scratch off the antiqued look from the chain. Ideally they would have included a threaded link instead of bending open and closed. Still a nice light.. The fixture at the center of this 1-light pendant looks as if it's floating. It's surrounded by a hand-blown glass schoolhouse shade with distinctive turned detailing, bringing a vintage-inspired design and blending it with a sleek modern style. Crafted from steel with a metallic finish, the interior holds in place a single dimmable bulb (sold separately). It hangs with the help of a height-adjustable wire and a canopy that's compatible with sloped ceilings. Rated for damp locations, this luminary is also safe to use in high-moisture environments.

These are BIG and if they are used in a kitchen with 8’ ceilings measure carefully. They look nice , just will take a minute get used to the size over the bar!. Anonymous. Thu May 07 2026

Fun retro style light. I’m excited to get this hung up, unfortunately there was a small piece missing that I’ll have to replace first. Otherwise everything was included and packaged extremely well. The bottom is laser cut plexiglass and the top dome a white glass. Overall very fun and different. Update - I received the missing piece and was able to assemble the light. It was a bit difficult to get the wiring done. I had to cut the wires, attach the mount and rewire the sockets. While it took some time the light is absolutely beautiful.. Jennifer. Fair Oaks, CA. Looks great!. Miriam. Deltona, FL. Thu Mar 05 2020

Instructions are hard to read and follow -- only a diagram with very tiny print, and an error or two, so it seems. There's no way to adjust the length of the chain and wires (don't ignore the wires [AC and copper ground wire] that dangle with the the chain; wrap them a couple of times around the chain so not so intrusive). You could cut the chain and wires, but then you'd have to open up one chain link, hook it to the top "ring" and then close up the link somehow, hoping it holds/works. I opted to use an S hook and double up the chain in one section, after it was hung; doesn't look great because you are also doubling up the electric cord and ground wire with it. Twist ties help. As my installer, offering encouragement said, "you won't notice it after a few days." Other than all that, the light, when lit shines nicely -- use 100 w equivalent led bulbs. Installing is definitely a two-person job, since the wire and chain have to be connected and fed through the shade and up into the cap where it connects to the ceiling. Finally, the description says this is cut glass. I assume it is, though it feels like some kind of plastic. But probably some kind of lightweight break-resistant glass, I think.. Robert.
