What a perfect fixture for a tray ceiling in a kitchen with low ceilings and no direct natural light! This brought so much helpful brightness to the space and ties in nicely with my polished nickel fixtures. You can opt for higher output lumens in the bulbs which I did to have strong task lighting. Installed over a kitchen bar. Installation was easy and was able to easily adjust length of lights. Happily surprised at how much light this provides. As others mentioned, the base is not very attractive. You can see the screws where the base attaches and the finish does not match the gold or black (it is brushed silver).
