This is a very cool light fixture. It has texture so it you use clear light bulbs the texture bounces off the walls. I used the shortest stems on each light so they are very close together. There is a bedroom right above where this light is hung so it clinks together some if someone jumps upstairs. If the bulbs were spaced out more it wouldn’t do that. But it’s a very cool fixture.. Kb. I spent sometime with a blowdryer held between my knees heating up the wire while I worked at the kinks with both hands to smooth them away. It worked to get them pretty straight. This is a very unique chandelier! Antique black finish. the cognac color lampshade blends so well with any decor. the glass has a slightly iridescent tint to it, kind of like an amber tone, but is stunning and doesn't give off that yellow glow if you get clear bulbs, the light that's cast is very warm. You can adjust the length of the pendants to whatever you'd like, but they hang beautifully no matter what, If you like soft, incandescent lighting this pendant light is perfect for you. Really love this fixture! The light it gives off is so great - it really brightened up our dining room. I would take off 1/2 star for the gold shade on the light - it is more like a brassy gold than a true gold, so if you are trying to match a true gold with other fixtures in the room this might not work.
