Note on the description: The product details humorously state that a "bullet" is not included—which is clearly a typo for a lightbulb! Color Accuracy & Material Discrepancy Before purchasing, I noticed a contradiction on the product page: the main text describes a "walnut-colored solid wood lamp body," but digging into the technical specifications reveals the base color is actually listed as "red." Having received it, the specs are definitely more accurate than the description. It reads much more like a reddish cherry or mahogany finish rather than a deep, chocolate-brown walnut. Perfect touch for the look that I wanted. I wanted something somewhere between spare contemporary and traditional, which is usually to heavy/fussy for me. This lamp is clean-looking but doesn't look as if it belongs in a cold medical exam-room. I think it fits into the space with a more transitional style without sticking out like a sore thumb. I'm very happy with the result. The uplighting gives the perfect effect for the vaulted ceiling. The lamp is solid and stable. The on/off switch doesn't have the flimsy feel that many others that I've purchased had, so I'm hopeful that this one will hold up longer. The century retro style design wood floor lamp. It is a perfect lighting addition to decorate your space with style and value.

I love the styling of this lamp, and so I gave it five stars. But there were a couple of issues I found there was a dent on the base as though somebody had dropped something pointed on it, and the wood had some imperfections. I know full well that I could’ve sent it back and Wayfair would have replaced the lamp they are very good about that sort of thing. But the issues weren’t so bad that I decided not to keep the lamp.
