I was looking for a non-traditional ceiling medallion for my Organic Modern decorating style. This is perfect. It is real wood and you can smell it. It comes in a variety of colors and I chose one that ties my "greige" colors with darker browns. Also, we need to move the ceiling fixture because it is not centered over the dining table. This will help hide any leftover imperfections from the change. Highly recommend this item.. Linda. CA. Sat May 23 2026

I got a track light for my kitchen when I had it remodeled. The guy who put the light up said he couldn't get it to fit tight to the ceiling so I bought a two piece medallion, got some adhesive and put it up. It was a smaller medallion so I didn't even need to use screws to get it to stay up. Not only does it cover the opening around the base of the light but it dresses up my ceiling. I did it myself with ease. Thanks for a great product and because it is two piece I didn't need to mess with the electricity.. Tristan B. Wed Sep 01 2010
