The Tessa 1-Light Single Bell Pendant has a classical bell shape that complements aesthetic, while also built for optimal illumination. Besa Lighting's solar glass is a pressed glass that features swirls of white throughout the clear glass, which then is colored with a translucent mix of red-orange to yellow. This handcrafted glass uses a process where every glass is consistently produced using a press mold, keeping variations to a minimum. I just received the pendants today. I like them except I can’t figure out how to put them together. The black rectangular piece doesn’t seem to attach to the shade in any way. The socket is much smaller than the top opening of the shade. Seems like a piece is missing. I may have to send these back unfortunately. 12/16/2018: Wayfair’s customer service helped resolve this problem. The original shades sent were incorrect. Once I figured that out, I notified Wayfair’s customer service and included photos, they responded quickly and arranged for the correct shades to be shipped. Hopefully they will arrive tomorrow. Getting the shades ready for shipping and having them shipped has taken a little more time than I would like but generally very happy with Wayfair for their attention and concern.. Roxanne. The 1st Baron Bourchier was born several hundred years too late to enjoy hanging NUT throughout his shadowy castle. Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding. Cala Nans is a small cove in Cadaqus accessible only by footpaths or by sea. An unspoiled corner of the Mediterranean where the vegetation and an old lighthouses vigil make this place a natural spot where all you can hear are the sound of the sea and of the birds that fly over the coast. With Nans, we wanted to highlight the craftsmanship of the lampshades and to look for a different way of weaving by combining different colors and formats to create a true Mediterranean style.

A Louis Comfort Tiffany studio classic fish scale pattern reproduced in variegated Tortoiseshell of Ambers and Burgundy. This handsome stained glass shade is used with Mahogany Bronze hand-finished hardware. A versatile inverted pendant to complement any color or style.

Packaging was excellent. It's a lovely shade, and appears to be worth every penny. It's hard to take photos of light fixtures, but I shot one where you can see the colors of the glass pieces in the shade in the room. I installed it in my library, which as you can see, is a fairly large mahogany-paneled room with the ceiling in mahogany as well, so I needed a lot of light and this fixture provides it. These things are always complicated to install, what with the wire running up through the tube, etc., and this was the usual. o Pros: Excellent value, appears to be a very expensive light fixture, and while there are others for much more, I'm not sure I'd see the difference.
