Inspiration is budding, and each glass petal is handcrafted by craftsmen. When the light are lightly turned on, the light passes through the layered and transparent glass petals, casting delicate light and shadow like butterfly wings on the wall, like a flower that never withers suspended in the air, injecting a poetic atmosphere of natural and artistic coexistence into the space. High transparency glass undergoes special processing to soften light without reducing brightness, resulting in a uniform and warm lighting effect. Whether used as the main light in the dining room, a focal decoration in the living room, or an accent in the bedroom atmosphere, it can endow the space with hazy and sophisticated light and shadow layers, creating an elegant yet warm style experience.

The light did the job! It is darker and warmer toned than pictured when the light is off the really light yellow green when the light is on. The quality is low, the wires were realllllly thin and difficult to work with. It was also disappointing that the screws for the flush mount were silver and didn’t match the brass like finish. Stained glass is handcrafted using the same technique that was developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. Glass types and colors are designed using metallic salts during manufacturing. Each piece of real glass is hand-cut and copper foil is wrapped around each individual piece. The glass pieces are then welded by hand to create one-of-a-kind designs. As part of the finishing process, oil is added to the outside of the design to protect the metal from erosion. The beauty of stained glass is its versatility when illuminated by light. Stained glass will become more vibrant when lit.
