I wanted something more modern for over my dining table.The old chandelier also always seemed undersized to my eye. I absolutely love this new one. It throws a lot of soft light and the stem is much more attractive than a chain. My ceiling is sloped so I had to use all of the various stem pieces it comes with. Beautiful light. I converted it into a swag light which was relatively easy to do with this fixture. Only 4 stars though because 10 lights is a bit much. Had to put in 5w bulbs so it wasn’t so intense. Also the arms do not tighten so they are very loose. The the ceiling attachment doesn’t fit a north Mercian electoral box so you have to buy a new piece. The cover doesn’t scare tight enough to stay up on ours.
