Love these. They are small and made of plastic. They come with hanging hardware, however we chose to use a two sided tape to put them up. We need to make sure that the location we placed them in will get enough sun to charge. We also feel that we can spread them a little further apart and still get the same effect. Instructions: 1. You need to turn on the ON/OFF switch on the solar panel, keep the switch in the ON position. 2. You need to charge the solar fence lights in the sun for 6-8 hours. 3. You need to use screws to fix these outdoor solar lights on the wall, fence or other places. 4. You can see the fence solar lights light up in the evening or at night. 5. In winter, remove the snow or the dust from the solar panel so that it can be better charged. The working hours normally reduce at winter due to the soft/weak sunlight.
