1. Turn on the switch and charge the solar nanel in full sunlight foat least 8 hours before the first use. 2. In cloudy weather or winter, charging time may be longer and working time may be shorter, which is normal for solar lamps and should not be considered as quality problem. 3. If the ground is too hard, do not twist or hammer it with force. Try to soften the ground with water and then insert into the ground. 4. Be sure to turn on the switch and install it in a locatioon where the sun can shine directly on the solar panel.

We recently replaced our aging deck railing with glass. These solar lights are beautiful, hold their charge. We chose to use them flat and lay along the deck surface - they reflect into the glass and it looks as if you have two solar lights.
