I like it’s design, but base looks quite lighter than it should be. Accidentally dropped it while assembling and broke my tv. It was quite a challenge to get the wire through the long pipe, but after 40 minutes I did it.. Roman. Brooklyn, NY. Thu Sep 01 2022

Elegant floor lamp with aluminum and iron frame, and marble round base.

Ian Thornton has been exploring how to bring task lights high style, and he has certainly succeeded with the Frey floor lamp, which is made of steel in a satin black finish with brushed brown accents. The way the off-white shantung shade is fitted to the curving arm is a refined aspect of the design, as it lends the profile a subtle Asian flair. The stacked base has an engineered precision, but it also creates a wonderful sense of balance as it extends to the point where the bands holding the shade taper down.

READER FLOOR LAMP, OUR NOD TO LITERACY. The Pipe Décor team are avid readers! Made of authentic plumbing pipe we were happy to add this Reader floor lamp to our collection of industrial vintage lamps. Featuring malleable iron fittings and actual steel pipe our lamp is a comfortable 56 inches high and offers you the ability to adjust the bulb brightness for reading comfort. Pipe Décor's patented 6-way malleable iron cross made this design a reality. We recommend pairing your new lamp with an Edison bulb to accentuate the rustic aesthetic. Grab your favorite book and relax.

Be prepared: there are a lot of pieces AND the directions are not clear. But it was fun to put together. IMPORTANT NOTE: you will absolutely need a stiff wire that is the length of the long pipe in order to get the wire to pass through that distance (the wire is not stiff enough and get's bunched up in the pipe as you attempt to push it through). Use some wire clothes hangers taped together to pull the wire through.. Scott. US. Sun Jul 30 2023

If you have a smart outlet, this floor lamp works with Alexa, Google Home Assistant, or Apple Home Kit.

This is the second Brightech lamp I've purchased and both have exceeded expectations. The Montage works perfectly behind our couch. We did not have any trouble getting it to stand straight after some adjustment to the bottom attachment. I appreciate that others mentioned the shade is tan as opposed white. Fortunately the tan works in our room but if I had been expecting white like the photos I would have been disappointed. That said, the shade packaging, assembly and design is brilliant. What a smart way to ship a typically large sized item. I will definitely continue to shop Brightech for our future lighting needs.. Jlm5691. Michigan. Tue Apr 11 2023
