Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. This is really a great fan...the blades are plastic which I realized was a good thing because as we took down old one blades{wood} they had warped...wont happen now...puts out a really nice breeze on low...high is fantastic...A few challenges to putting it together but all in all it went well...I recommend this to all!!!.
