This is a BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT chandelier! We had to solve a problem in the new home , where the old, and ugly existing chandelier was not centered over the table. The only way to solve this was to change it out for a light with a chain to swag. Regarding the installation of this lamp, it did not come assembled and we had to put it together, which was quite challenging. Some of the parts did not line up properly, and had to be muscled. The chain had to be threaded, and you need a magnifying glass to read the teeny tiny print on the instructions which were not easy to understand. We put in (3) 100W brite white bulbs and then added a dimmer switch. The biggest problem I can see going forward, is every time you need to change a lightbulb, the only way to access it is to disassemble it from the bottom, remove the heavy glass diffuser, replace the bulb, and then try to get the diffuser installed level and even, which is not easy!
