First package shipped out encountered a problem before we even received it. They did send a replacement and did communicate adequately. When the replacement arrived the glass cover was cracked on one of the lights. I did not have the option to report a problem. This was, I assume, because I did not buy the protection valued at $18 dollars. I can understand if the product fails after you have had it for awhile but it is reasonable to expect that a product is received in good order and works when you get it. Perhaps, if you pay the extortion fee of $18 you may receive a product that is not damaged and works. My only option was to return the lights when all I would like is one light replaced. The lights are well made and easy to install, just takes time splicing the wires from light to light. Also need a decent transformer to time them, I use the dusk till dawn setting. This product is very attractive and we installed about a dozen of them to match the outdoor sconces of the same desgn complaints: --The finish has worn off after a few months so that the color is no longer dark, but more of a light copper color. -- Half of the path lights have snapped off at the base with very little stress.
