I was so excited to get this chandelier. My husband put it up but it needs to be at least another two feet lower. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said they don’t have extra rods to send. Looks great, and decent structural quality, however the crystals are low quality. They have a lot of imperfections, rough cut edges, and blemishes. It’s clearly cheap glass and not real crystal. Also, there’s two perimeters of crystal, one around the inside and one around the outside. Naturally, they have different circumference which means the crystals will fall in and out of sync as you go around unless the spaces between them compensates for that. In this case, it doesn’t compensate and so practically that means that on one side of the chandelier the crystals will be aligned and the other side they will be misaligned. I’m really happy with this light! I was looking for something that felt modern and updated without being overly trendy, and this fixture was exactly what I had in mind. The black finish is clean and classic, and the open geometric design gives it just enough character without making the space feel busy. One of my favorite things about it is how airy it feels. Since the fixture is open rather than having a heavy shade or a lot of glass, it doesn’t block the view or compete with the windows and doors behind it. We have a lot of natural light in this area, and I wanted something that would complement that rather than visually weigh the room down. This does that beautifully. The adjustable hanging length was also a big plus. We have taller ceilings, so being able to position the fixture at the right height made a huge difference. It has enough presence to draw your eye upward, but the actual fixture itself is still fairly streamlined. Once installed, the candle-style bulbs and black metal frame give off a nice warm look in the evening. During the day, it almost disappears into the room while still adding some architectural interest. I also like that the simple black finish works with several different decorating styles, so I don’t feel like I’ll be replacing it the next time I change furniture or decor. Installation was straightforward, and everything arrived in good condition. For the price, I think it looks more expensive than it actually was. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase.
