This is a hanging lamp fixture. I have an old home we are remodeling. New wiring is going in now. My son advised to wait for installation due to the weight of this light fixture. I'm not sure I'm going to install this. It's attractive. The plastic "glass" is high quality. The colors are rich (and I'm sure the would look great illuminated). The hardware that covers the wiring is okay, but you wouldnt notice it really. The problem I have is it comes with LED lightbulbs that I'm sure were chosen for the space they have to be in. There are no instructions about what wattage the fixture can hold, which probably doesn't matter because regular light bulbs won't fit. The light itself is pretty! It gives off a lot of light and looks like it’s made from good materials. The directions to install are terrible. I’ve installed a lot of lights etc and the way they direct you to do it is not right. They want you to mount it to the ceiling and not to the junction box. This is a beautiful chandelier. It is a hardwired chandelier and that is why I gave it four stars. In the description it said it was plug in. I can see how well made the stain glass is made and how nice and well constructed the perch, cap and chain are. The instructions are pretty clear, and it comes with a glove to protect the glass. This Chandelier is Beautiful. The pictures online really don’t do it justice—it’s even more stunning in person. The stained glass part is like a hard resin. Installation was pretty straightforward. It comes with a chain so you can adjust the height, which was perfect because I need it to hang a little higher in my dining space, and all the hardware you need. It does not come with light bulbs.
