I got this to coordinate with a new vanity light. The shades online look almost identical to the ones on my vanity light. I did not realize the shades are not a crystal glass. Each individual glass piece is hooked onto the metal circular frame by a twisted piece of thin metal, kind of like a staple. From far away they look similar enough but a complete glass shade would look better. I also wonder how easily the thin little metal pieces will rust. It said it was OK in a damp location like a bathroom but I wonder. Overall I like the look of the light.. Lisa. Lansing, MI. Thu Oct 01 2026

We wanted something low-profile that the kids would be less likely to hit or break (we have four kids under 6), and these definitely fit the bill. I was looking at a few different lights that looked very similar, and it took me a little while to realize that these allow you to adjust the lighting color, while the others didn’t. I love that we can choose a warmer or cooler light depending on what we want. They can also be dimmed at the switch, which is especially nice when the kids are getting ready for bed or when we need a little light in the middle of the night. We’re planning to install the others in the hallway and playrooms. My husband can install one in under 5 minutes! It would probably take me 15–20 minutes since I’ve never installed a light before and would have to look up how to do it, but even that seems pretty easy. Overall, we’re really happy with them and are looking forward to getting the rest installed!. Christina. Pearland, TX. Wed Sep 09 2026
