This was the perfect choice for my home office. The jbox which controls this light fixture would not allow for a dimmer switch so this Deontee fixture worked perfectly: LED, dimmable and the ability to change the color temperature. It was affordable and easy to install (though I think I need to fiddle with it a bit so the fixture will fit more flush to the ceiling). I am considering placing an order for a second fixture in an adjacent hallway--good to know that one remote can control both fixtures.. Gerry. Minneapolis, MN. Sun Oct 18 2026

Great little purchase. Had to buy a decorative plate mount to cover the whole the previous light left, but that was because of the previous light and minor inexpensive inconvenience. Without exaggeration I have removed and replaced at least 100 light fixtures in my time and this has to be one of the easiest I ever have installed. The domed canopy cover on the fixture allows for it to be easily attached to the mounting strap on the outlet box so you dont have to struggle trying to tuck excess wire into the junction box. The fixture was easily installed in 5 minutes. My only problem was with the globe style shade. It does not fit over a standard size bulb. I knew that from reading the reviews and had purchased the bulb recommended by other reviewers. Unfortunately that didnt work either. I had to resort to a standard base candle type bulb. The fixture will only handle 40 w Max so do not depend on this fixture for more than ambient lighting. I still love the style and it works for me. I consider it a good value for the money.. Sandra. Norfolk, VA. Tue Jul 21 2026
