Update couldnt wait any longer. I asked a professional how to install thos light they told me exactly how to do and I did it. It was actually easy. The only hard part was holding my arms up to attach to the ceiling, and getting over the fear that im going to electrocute myself. I shook the fear off and I did it. It took me a little longer because I didnt have a ladder but if I did it would have been done in a flash. My daughter loves it. What I like about it is that it has several light options. You know when you have your light on but its just not bright enough or its to bright. This light fixes all of that with the different light settings. My daughter likes the color option the best. Great for all ages. 5 stars. my daughter really wants this light so I ordered it because I thought it was plug-in type . Its not its hardwire. I dont know anything about electrical installation so I was going to send it back and being that Wayfair has no problem with keeping there customers happy thats one of the main reasons I always shop there first I was given the opportunity to return. With easy instructions. However my son told his sister he will put it up for her when he gets back from deployment so I know this light has got to be 5 stars because shes waiting. I will update my review when its installed. Hopefully its worth the wait.. Victoria. Portland, OR. Tue Aug 04 2026

Bring handcrafted texture and cozy, modern-rustic warmth into your home with the 2-light clear hammered glass drum shape flush ceiling light. The drum shape is softer and more contemporary than a traditional lantern, it reads as refined and sculptural, like a glowing pail of light suspended just below the ceiling. The defining feature of this fixture is its hammered glass drum shade — a design that celebrates the beauty of hand-worked glass. The tiny dimples, ripples, and waves resemble hand-planed metal or water-worn stone.

This character-rich drum wooden flush ceiling light celebrates honest materials and handcrafted texture. The defining feature of it is its drum shade constructed from individual wooden strips (slats). Rather than a solid shade, the wood is arranged as vertical or slightly curved battens around a circular frame, leaving thin gaps between each strip. Unlike mass-produced metal drum shades, the wooden strips bring instant warmth and a made-by-hand comfort that makes a house feel like a home. It's the kind of piece that looks as though it was built in a rural workshop rather than a factory. When illuminated, the wooden slat drum creates a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow. The gaps between strips allow light to stream through in thin ribbons, casting rhythmic shadow lines across your walls and ceiling — like sunlight through a farmhouse fence.

Very attractive, light weight and looks great against our wood wall.. Terry. Marysville, MI. Sun Sep 20 2026

I have very poor lighting in my house and was thinking of installing recessed lighting, but then I found this, which is a much less expensive option. The lighting simulated the patterns of the sky, including sunrise and cloudy days. The remote is easy to use . Installation requires watching a you tube video, but that made it much easier . I ordered another one because my kids confiscated this one to the basement... highly recommend. Linda. Charlton, NY. Wed Jul 01 2026
