Awesome upgrade!! It took a few days to arrive & when I received it I initially was worried about the hue of the gold tone...but once it was up I am so happy for the purchase. The installation seemed pretty straightforward out of the box....my handyman put it up fairly quick. Only critique was the battery that came with the remote was dead....so he fumbled with the fan/remote for an extra 10 min thinking something went wrong with the install...only for us to figure out that it was only the battery that was the culprit. I am getting it installed in one of my can lights, but it sure is a nice fan. I am using it in my kitchen and it's great to know if it doesn't give enough relief, I will add one to another can light. Fan is a nice design. People say it looks great in the cathedral ceiling - had to buy a separate 18 inch downrod. It went up fairly easy, is quiet, lets off good air circulation and responds well with the remote. Note that the reverse button is up on the fan, not on the remote so youll need to get up on a ladder to change it. Also, the manufacturer put stickers all over the blades and when you pull them off, the fake wood finish pulls off. I used a grey crayon to try to hide it.. Sg. OH. Tue Oct 19 2021
