Pretty. A tad larger for my hallway than I had anticipated. It does not have as much speckled colors as pictured or had hoped for. I have the fixture in amber and I do like that color. I am in search of finding the "right" bulb for this fixture. I reduced it to 60 watts and it is bright..the fixture allows up to 100 W. I think a clear bulb will not have the "spotlight" look that the current bulb has...or possibly an amber bulb. Looks great when the light is not on. We love the look of this and how it changed the look of our library. It is an inch larger than our previous light fixture, but because it is flush mount, it actually looks smaller. That being said, it seems to give more light, despite the darker shade, because it casts light on the ceiling. It's beautiful and makes a statement in our room.
