I wanted to give this 5 stars! The oil-rubbed bronze is the PERFECT tone in person (not too brown, more of a softwarm black but distinct from true black when placed next to it). Put the whole thing together myself except I can’t tell if this plastic thing needs to be removed. I don’t think the wires will fit otherwise. The instructions don’t specify and for an electrical noob such as myself it is mildly frustrating to have to wait for my husband to get home to finish the project. It casts a beautiful glow on the ceiling and makes me feel like I’m in an upscale spa. The size is perfect for any size room. The gold is a beautiful tone and the shade is a beautiful white fabric. It seems easy to clean and quick access to change bulbs. This fixture is well designed and a stunner! I want one in every closet and bathroom now. It did take me a bit to get it installed since there were some adjustments to be made to get it flush with the mount and ceiling. I’d say this light takes a little more time than a typical fixture in terms of installation. The directions weren’t super clear on portions of the install, but it was pretty intuitive to install.
