The idea behind this is brilliant. I just wasn't so sure about the dimensions provided to order the correct item for my lights - and I didn't. The outside width is 5" and the inside clips to hold inside the recessed can are 4." If this lasts less than the 50,000 hours advertised, I would be hesitant as throwing away a single light bulb seems environmentally preferable to throwing away this entire apparatus. One star deducted for lack of adequate dimensions in the listing. I didn't get to try the various settings because, alas, my smallest can light is actually 6 inches, so I'll have to try the appropriate size. I recommend ordering just one first to assure it fits before ordering several. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition, though. yay!. Michele. Hood River, OR. Mon Aug 11 2025

Really pleased with this light! I love the clean, modern lines that the flush square look gives and Im looking forward to installing it in our upcoming project-its going in a small hallway. It will work perfectly, but I will say that we are starting to use more and more of the wafer style lights so I probably wont be using this one many more times, but it is a great light for a great price!.
