The idea behind this is brilliant. I just wasn't so sure about the dimensions provided to order the correct item for my lights - and I didn't. The outside width is 5" and the inside clips to hold inside the recessed can are 4." If this lasts less than the 50,000 hours advertised, I would be hesitant as throwing away a single light bulb seems environmentally preferable to throwing away this entire apparatus. One star deducted for lack of adequate dimensions in the listing. I didn't get to try the various settings because, alas, my smallest can light is actually 6 inches, so I'll have to try the appropriate size. Available in a variety of trim options including a sleek trim less option which can be spackled directly up to the Aperture. At 3.5" in housing height, Aether is designed to fit the most difficult tight plenum spaces.

Volta trims include a LED light engine with a replaceable high powered LED module. Tool less in field adjustable glare control and optic system can be used for louvers, lens and beam control.
