Very nice pendant light for the money. I liked the rope chain idea because existing ceiling outlet was not centered where I need my small kitchen table, luckily I have exposed beams so screwed a hook in and it's perfect now. The issue with this light is the rope chain unfortunately. As a guy with many different pliers, I found it very difficult to open and close the chain links to finish it off at the ceiling. You have to be very careful with it to not scratch off the antiqued look from the chain. Ideally they would have included a threaded link instead of bending open and closed. Still a nice light.. I really like the look of the light fixture. It came with a few different rods so you can hang it to the length that works for you. Installation wasn't too bad. However it comes with a diffuser shade that does not fit. See pictures. It is way too small, doesn't rest on the tabs meant to hold it up, and therefore wobbles and is uneven and looks awful. Even if it had been big enough I hate the look of it, prefer frosted acrylic for a diffuser shade. I returned the first purchase and bought a second, and it also had the incorrect diffuser shade, so definitely an issue with the factory and not a one-off.
