These are a little on the 'light' side, no pun intended. The glass is pretty thin, but they look good. Don't have them up yet, but looking forward to it. She bashed 3 out of 7 packages around on my porch, luckily only one thing got damaged. That I've found so far. Not Wayfair's fault. They handled a replacement very quickly with no hassle. This light fixture works perfectly in our bathroom. We wanted to replace the original builder-grade light that came with the house, but I had trouble finding something that met our needs. Our previous fixture was ceiling-mounted, while most bathroom lights are designed to be installed on the wall above or beside a mirror. I actually found this light while browsing kitchen fixtures, and my husband suggested it might work well in the bathroom—and he was right. It looks great installed. I especially love that the wiring is fully enclosed in metal tubes. Our old fixture had exposed wiring threaded through chains, which was difficult to keep clean. This fixture also provides three lights, and because the bottom of each sconce is open and the bulbs point downward, it gives off excellent, bright light—perfect for waking up in the morning. Installation notes • Some parts are secured with set screws the correct size Allen wrench is included, which is a nice touch. • The instructions need a small correction two pairs of wires exit the assembled fixture for connection to household wiring, but the instructions only show and describe one pair. • Overall, assembly and installation were straightforward and manageable. The light came quickly, but the driver left the box far from my house down a long driveway, right in the middle of a rain storm. I told Wayfair and they immediately sent a replacement, which is great customer service. The new light arrived quickly and looks great over my kitchen island. My reason for a four star rating instead of five is that I can’t figure out how to enable the light for my smart house system. There is a remote control which I find obnoxious to deal with—I think I need to change the switch, which might solve the issue. This product is ok. I like the quality of the glass shades, they don't feel like plastic to the touch. They are also easily wipeable. The black is a nice matte black, so it looks like a nice heavy iron material. The only thing getting me is the wiring the lights actually hang from. They are so bent, I am hoping they will straighten out. In the Wayfair photos the wiring looks perfectly straight but I don't believe I'll be able to get them this straight because it is a thicker wiring.
