They're light bulbs. They work as expected. Soft white is a good color for most indoor spaces throughout the day, though it should be noted that this isn't the same as "warm white". 1100 Lumens is quite bright, so they definitely are good at lighting up a whole room. That being said, for more than $30 for a pack of six, this is definitely an expensive buy. You can easily buy lightbulbs for much cheaper. Great bulbs! I was concerned that an LED bulb wouldn't cast a warm light the way an incandescent does, but these have been just great.
