These lights are great. They have been working since I installed them without any problems. I mounted one low to the ground to just light up when we walk to the hot tub at night, and it does just that. It also lights up when my dogs walk past it which is fine. We just didn’t want to light up the whole back yard because we like to watch the stars at night from the hot tub. So mounting one closer to the ground is perfect! We mounted the second one along the fence to light up the walkway near the trash cans in a dark corner. It picks me my dogs up, so that’s successful as well.. Anonymous. Tue May 26 2026

These were another type of light I wanted to use especially for lights that either was going to be mowed/weed eated over or to highlight the underside of the full tree. I am again super happy with the finishes of the fixtures, the connection hardware, the plastic well the fixture sits in that can double as a holder for the electrical connection. I've had a landscape business in the past, and I would have totally ordered these for that work, and felt comfortable putting them in a clients property. In the first photo, there are two under the Willow bush. It's HUGE so I wanted to balance it equally/fully. In the second photo, the far right side with the Witch Hazel is lit by the in-ground light because it's in grass, which I wanted the crew to be able to maintain the area easily.. Steve. Another awesome product. I'm really impressed by the outdoor lighting I've ordered. Solid finish. You can tuck extra cable inside the plastic housing at the base of the fixture, including the electrical connection point. I wrap my connections in electrical tape for extra water tightness but you maybe able to get away with out having too. I like the screw down connectors (I'd wear gloves to make it easier to tighten down) because they are easy to use and seem to hold the connection taught. I used these at the base of shrubs in my yard and my parents. The first picture, the lights on the far right and left are the in-ground lights to highlight a Maple & a Witch Hazel. One is buried in mulch/soil and the other in grass/soil. Both work super well to highlight the trees. In the second photo, again the two far right and far left are the in-ground, both in soil/mulch.
