Nice looking lamp that works well. I’m not fond of how it mounts to the wall. Doesn’t seem like it’s very secure. There is a small gap at the top. It doesn’t sit exactly flush, that’s part of the design with the mounting bracket. Also, not sure how long the remote control is going to last. It’s pretty flimsy.. Shannon. Kansas City, MO. To achieve artistic enlightenment, this manufacturer has crafted its Picture Lights, a premier line of fine arts lights crafted by artists to best enhance their work. These unique picture lighting fixtures are constructed to be as slight as possible to keep attention focused on the artwork, perfectly highlighting the paints and primers with the cutting-edge Picture-Perfect™ LED art lighting technology. This line of contemporary picture lights is only 7/8 of an inch thick and underscored construction is meant to complement rather than distract. To match this modern design, then, every light is powered by Picture-Perfect™ LEDs: low voltage LED nodes to glow softly at 2700K color temperature, a whitish yellow hue that produces light that has the clean, natural warmth of the sun in the early morning. With a Color Rendering Index of 90, these LEDs can bring colors to life, imparting a richer depth to reds and yellows and a more soothing cool to greens and blues. Furthermore, these LEDs are UV-free, keeping paintings and portraits safe from fading and discoloration. These LEDs also operate at minimal heat, preventing the cracking and drying that may occur when using traditional halogen or incandescent bulbs. This collection's most unique feature, however, is its included Dimmer: offering adjustable brightness settings up to 1200 lumens, this dimmer allows one to alter the amount of light that shines upon their display, optimizing light balance to truly make art spring to life. This light and dimmer are powered by a standard 10-foot10-footer cord and are available with mounting brackets that allow for both wall and frame mounting. In addition to this support of art, this collection also shines in service to the environment: its installed LEDs are highly energy-efficient, lasting for up to 50,000 hours of continuous use. These 20-year LEDs also require a mere 15 watts of energy to function, about 80% less energy than that of incandescent bulbs. This light runs completely clean, both in light and waste, ensuring a more artistic future for the world to come. Dimmable with included Dimmer only. Not Compatible with Dimmable Wall Switches

Ridgewood is for those who relish manual functionality and tactile details. It sets a tube within a tube, allowing you to control its length. Knurled knobs and ends to the metal scroll are not merely decorative—they reposition length of light and angle of illumination.

This is a beautiful quality light! Unfortunately, the historic nickel color was more of a gunmetal. It was too hard to see this from the provided pictures. I hoped that they would still work as they are really nice, but will be sending them back. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the bad pictures.. Gail. Tucson, AZ. Beautiful light! To correct to inconsistencies in the product description - it IS dimmable (standard E26 25W tubular bulb) and bulbs ARE NOT included. This Art Gallery Light is a union of vintage style and contemporary picture lighting technology: engineered by artists, this fine art light uses the warm glow of LED light to bring artwork into lighting sublimity. The soft illumination of this Picture Light places the aesthetic upon the canvas, morphing a mere collection of paint and primer into real art. Glowing at a rich Color Rendering Index of 90, the advanced LED systems of this Picture Light bring full life into the paint upon the canvas, saturating both reds and blues into vivid fullness. Such museum-grade light quality is accomplished through 60 low voltage LED nodes working at a color temperature of 2700 Kelvin, a natural, yellow-white shine that recalls the warmth of the early morning sun. However, where fully natural sunlight tarnishes and discolors paintings with degrading ultraviolet light, the LEDs in this pose no danger to artwork, safeguarding pieces in clean illumination. And in a match of aesthetic form and convenient design, this Picture Light's 441-inch shade is fully adjustable to suit any degree of artwork. The shade itself is installed upon a ball joint, allowing for the perfect arc of illumination, and the wall-mounted arms of the lamp are extendable from 5 to 8 inches to suit frames both thick and thin. In addition, this Picture Light runs in complete energy efficiency: running on a mere 24 watts of electricity, these LED gallery lights offer the same lighting capabilities as high-end incandescent bulbs while operating at 80% less energy. Indeed, where incandescent have an average lifespan of around 1,200 hours, these LEDs last for up to 50,000 hours, reducing energy pollution and saving you on your electric bill.

Love this!. Erin. TX. Thu Mar 31 2022

Lex in Latin is defined as law, principle, or condition. Simple architectural principles guided the design and construction of the Lex pendant. Three primary parts, the light, the hubs, and the wood slats, compose the form, function, and feel. The laws of attraction are often mysterious, and Lex's ability to appear both solid and porous simultaneously creates a sense of intrigue and freshness.

It's a nice fixture and seems like would be worth it if hard wired, but definitely would not recommend as a plug-in fixture because the backplate does not allow for the cord to drop down and the "switch" they provide is just a toggle switch that you have to connect to under the backplate...meaning you would have to reach up and behind the art to switch..
