Found a fantastic old floor lamp in my mother in law's attic, but it needed a new shade and I live in a small town where they are hard to find. Was a little nervous about buying a shade online without seeing it in person. This is great! Looks very quality/classy/well made. Measurements were true to what was online so it fits just right! Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short.
