The harp is very stiff so it is difficult to get in place so it is straight. Also, it only has one setting, so no 3-way lamp bulb. That can be changed as well, but for now it's fine. Very nice! This lamp looks particularly great in the evening when it’s warm amber glow fills the room. The lampshade is beautiful, although mine arrived with a small crack at the bottom (see photo) it’s not a deal breaker, especially since I’m probably the only person who knows it’s there.The base is sturdy, but it does occupy a large area, at least it (the lamp) will certainly never tip over. The switch is located on the cord so it’s easy to get to. I would have given it 5 stars except for the cracked lampshade, let’s call it 4.9 stars.
