Overall, the light is better than I expected. I have a lot of these types of lights and this light ranks up there with the better ones. The solar panel looks nicer than the generic panels you get with the lights like this. For the price, I think it's better than some of my others. I don't think it's 9000 watts, but it is bright enough for us. It runs off of a rechargeable battery, so you need to understand that it will not be much brighter than a A/C flood light. It's great that it allows you to place lighting in areas without access to A/C power. We use these around our livestock area. The coverage you'll get is highly dependent on the height of the mounting area. We have some mounted about 16 foot up and the have a great light spread. We have others mounted at only 8 foot and the spread isn't very good at all. The light stays on all night and during the morning, it is noticeably dimmer than when it first turns on at night. The mounting pole is a little thin, but it has held up in some 80 mph wind gusts that we recently went through. We've had about 1/2 inch of rain, and I can see no leakage, etc. So far, so good. This is one amazing camera. We have a little man cave that sits inside our fenced yard. this item arrived pretty quickly, easy enough to install. works for what we need and it's pretty bright - the only negative is that the light only stays on for 15 seconds if there is no movement. It does pick up motion pretty intuitively. UPDATE: 8/22/23 - only had these lights a couple of months and noticed that one of the lights (actual light piece) has come unglued which is a bit disappointing; also one light out of the set of 4 does not work and we're not sure why.. I place them lower to the ground and they capture any movement of nighttime “critters” which may be visiting. Of course, they will come on when people pass as well. Solar security lights are ideal for night lighting of the pathway, driveway, garden, yard, aisle, patio, etc.

These work great! They're smaller than I expected, and they don't put out as much light as larger lights, but they work for my purposes. I was worried at first because the instructions say: "keep away from moisture", but I've had these outside through 5 days of heavy rain and they're OK. The sensors pick me up around 15'-20' from the lights themselves. I've had to place them almost side-on to the sun to have them where I need them, so I'm hoping they're charging OK. So far so good. :) months later: these lights have been on my deck for months now through a LOT of rain& wind, and 98 degree weather and still work perfectly. Definitely recommended!. Carole. This solar powered outdoor lights features 3 modes to choose. Security light mode: Light off with no motion, 100% brightness when motion is detected and delay for 20s. Dim light mode: Dim light with no motion, 100% brightness when motion is detected and delay for 20s. Stay on mode: Keep medium brightness, and motion sensor off.
