It was a bit confusing and delayed installation progress (added to frustration) when the instructions didn't tell a newby everything you needed to know to step by step install this with the new ceiling fan ... but it was the correct part listed to use with the new fan. I used this with the 48" Celino 3 Blade Ceiling Fan. The finishes go perfectly together. Installation is problematic with the instructions as is, we weren't able to line up the adapter and the fan so that it was at the right angle for hanging without a wobble. After many tries and thinking ahead for slope angles, the adapter still won't lineup properly, so it produces a wobble when the fan is turned on. We still use it and are used to the wobble. Fan is beautiful but please note the following if you are interested in this fan - The glass light shades are a brownamber tint on the black ceiling fan. The blades are cherry wood color on one side and the other side has a darker brown, walnut stain. - Had trouble with installation due to having to use an adapter for my slanted ceiling. - Adapter also purchased from Wayfair but had to purchase a separate down rod to fit correctly. This was not an issue with the diameter of the down rod, but rather the distance of the security pin from the threaded end of the down rod. - The adapter was not able to accommodate the remote receiver. Had to make modifications in the wiring to get the receiver to be concealed and function properly. In summary, the fan is beautiful and Wayfair reps were great to work with, but beware and be prepared for complications if you need a slanted ceiling adapter.. V. OH. Sat Jun 22 2024
