This is a super nice fan! Please ignore the yellow tips, my partner painted those on himself to make it resemble a plane propeller. But the fan itself is really nice. It’s a sleek design, I like that it’s all one color and does not have a light, which we didn’t want. It was packaged well and my partner who installed it said it came with really helpful mounting hardware and was really happy about that. What I personally love is how quiet it is! This is a beautiful ceiling fan for my living room! I decided to change out the fan from a white one to black. It is very attractive and has great fan speeds. The LED light is integrated and gives off a warm glow. If you are looking for something brighter, you might want a different light that gives off more than 3000k, but for us I'm sure it will work. It takes about an hour to install, but make sure that you buy your downrod ahead of time. We needed a 36 inch rod, with a matt black finish. Overall, I am happy with this product.. Linda. It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954. A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. We bought 3 fans, 3 different sizes. We have installed 1 of them at this point. The fan has a simple, clean style. It works well, cools the room on low speed. We like the adjustable light. We like the look, it is a nice improvement over the outdated fan We had. I gave it 4 stars because the remote and our switch are not compatible. We will leave the switch on and only use the remote..
