A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954. This is a super nice fan! Please ignore the yellow tips, my partner painted those on himself to make it resemble a plane propeller. But the fan itself is really nice. It’s a sleek design, I like that it’s all one color and does not have a light, which we didn’t want. This is a beautiful ceiling fan for my living room! I decided to change out the fan from a white one to black. It is very attractive and has great fan speeds. The LED light is integrated and gives off a warm glow. If you are looking for something brighter, you might want a different light that gives off more than 3000k, but for us I'm sure it will work. We bought 3 fans, 3 different sizes. We have installed 1 of them at this point. The fan has a simple, clean style. It works well, cools the room on low speed. We like the adjustable light. The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal.
