They work fine. Light output was not as bright as expected. It might be because the ceilings are 12 ft.. Suzanne. Fri Aug 07 2026

Needed a separate romex connector, not included. With the connector in place, there was not room to turn the nut and not enough for the box to close. Had to tape it shut with HVAC tape. Lee. Thu Apr 25 2019

When I first put up this semi flush mount ceiling light, it surprised me a bit. It looks simple when you unbox it, but once it’s on the ceiling, it settles into the room in a nice way. The two bulbs make a big difference too — spots like the hallway and the bedroom that were always a bit dim finally looked brighter. The clear glass shade keeps the light open instead of blocking it, and the bulbs you choose change the whole feel of the room. The fixture comes in brushed nickel or oil-rubbed bronze. Both feel solid when you handle them. The nickel has that cool grey tone that works in newer setups, and the bronze has a warmer look for farmhouse or older decor. The steel body is sturdy; it doesn’t bend when you tighten anything. The glass is thick enough that you don’t feel nervous during installation. It takes standard E26 bulbs, which helps — you can use warm bulbs for a softer look or bright LEDs if you want a cleaner tone. This ceiling hanging light sits pretty close to the ceiling, which makes it useful in smaller rooms or spots where a big fixture would just feel too much. After installing it, the light stays steady and doesn’t wobble around. The style is simple enough that you can move it to another room later and it still fits in fine. Since it’s UL-listed for damp areas, you can also use it near laundry spaces or close to bathrooms without worrying about moisture. Installation is straightforward with the regular hardware. Once it’s in place, it gives off a steady, comfortable light that immediately makes the room feel a bit better. If you want a fixture that keeps things simple and doesn’t take over the whole space, this 2 lights semi flush mount is a pretty good option for different areas around the house.
