The lights light our pathway very nicely. The fixtures were easy to install, however I did not use the connectors that were supplied, they were not the best quality. These were perfect! I actually drilled holes in the wood on top of my pool fence and set them through the holes about 6 feet apart and on either side of the gateway ,instead of putting them in the ground, and it looks really cool at night. I have not wired them in yet because we have 4 feet of snow on the ground at the moment where I live, but they are very durable and I did test the light on another wire and they are very bright without being too LED and in your face. These were a great find! I really was looking to include some lighting up to my front porch where its already dark. Honestly, at first when I pulled them out of the box, they seemed super huge, but in the end, I think they will fit well in the space. My front yard is still in the remodel state, with some gravel going in, but I think the photos give you the idea of the space. Only comment is, I wish there wasnt so much styrofoam used in the packaging. Other than that, I havent been able to power them up yet because the order is just lights, not the transformer to power them. I do appreciate the have a good paint finish and seeming construction. Very pretty. The only reason for the four stars is it’s a very dim light. This is a candlelight color- amber. Not bright at all. I still like it. It’s taller than most path lights which I also like. Classy, great light range, all with a touch of gold. I really like these, and they are very nice; however, I would give them a 4.5 score due to the cable connectors that come with them. They are not the best, and I replaced them with more appropriate low-voltage connectors. Also, note that these can be added to any existing low-voltage lighting system and can't be used as a stand-alone. Packaging is excellent, and all arrived in perfect condition.
