Because the bulbs point downward and the bottom is open, the light flows freely over the sink area—perfect for doing hair and makeup in our windowless bathroom. Installation Note Our biggest challenge was finding a fixture that didn’t hang too low. Although this one came with poles, we discovered it could be installed without them, saving us about twelve inches and keeping the lights out of the way.
