We hung the pendant over our Kitchen table and are very happy with the look of it and the amount of light it puts off. We needed a light with the ability to dim and this one filled the bill. I will have to say that the installation was a bit difficult to get the lights at the different levels that we liked. There is no hardware to cover it so if it bothers you to see the exposed copper ground wire, be prepared to wrap it in electrical tape or try to color it with magic marker. It took the place of an old mid-90s era tacky brass chandelier and it massively improved the look of the entire room. It's a sizeable light, quite large, definitely makes a statement wherever you choose to mount it. The length is adjustable.
