A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. Packaging needs improvement. There’s scratches on some of the fan blades and the glass has scratches on it. Feels sturdy, but light enough to make installation easier. I mainly liked this product because of the APP to be able to use the fan. So you don’t necessarily need the remote. I had a fan previously that had a remote and I accidentally washed the remote because it was lost in the sheets when they went into the wash. lol.
