Twisting the speed adjustment screw clockwise slows down the pop-up speed while twisting it counterclockwise speeds it up. The built-in damper spring greatly reduces harmful accidents caused by rapid bouncing during use. This floor outlet box is UL listed and meets NEC Article 406.12 requirements for tamper-resistant receptacles.
