I thought the black shades had yellow metal inside, but they are fully black. This actually turned to advantage as they reflect any color light bulb you put inside. They seem to work well with the wooden base and black power cords I had. The opening on the top is about 2 inches (it was not in the product detail). Olga. New York, NY. Wed Jun 14 2023

Petite shades are an easy way to bring added style to a space while also introducing color and texture, particularly when it is made from artisanal marbleized paper and ornamented with two layers of grosgrain ribbon in different hues. The saturation of the colors on the handmade tapered and cylindrical shades for chandeliers and wall sconces is achieved by a New England atelier. Created during a very organic process that makes any surface treated to marbleizing so special.

I’m obsessed with these. I paid attention to the reviews noting how fragile the pendants were - I was very careful when unpacking and even more so when screwing on the pendants. They look amazing! I was worried based on some reviews they would be too big, and when taking them out of the box they looked huge - but in a side by side comparison they are comparable to my old pendants. Katie. NC.
